"Winter storm warning for: Waterloo - Wellington"

“A NEAR-CRIPPLING SNOW STORM WITH HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW AS WELL AS SOME ICE PELLETS TONIGHT AND SUNDAY.”

“THIS MASSIVE SNOW STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE NEAR-PARALYZING CONDITIONS AS ROAD TRAVEL ON ANY UNPLOWED STREETS MAY BECOME NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE ON SUNDAY.”

“THERE IS A HIGH DEGREE OF CERTAINTY WITH THIS STORM AS THE CONCENSUS OF WEATHER MODEL DATA IS VIRTUALLY UNANIMOUSLY FORECASTING THIS EVENT”

[Via TWN]

Woah, methinks this is the first time The Weather Network has ever used the words “crippling” and “paralyzing” in a forecast. One thing they forgot to mention is that going outside “will shatter your spine, rendering your life useless.”

Also, I like how they mention that it’s not just them who are forecasting a major storm. TWN is known for being wrong often, and apparently they’ve just realized how terrible their reputation is. Expect to see a lot more “it’s not just us” messages in the near future.

Shit me, what’s with all these massive storms ON WEEKENDS? Jesus christ, I want a fucking snow day.
